Community Guidelines
Here is some of our community guides to help you understand what do we do and how to act here.
1. What is Xonder?
Xonder is an anonymous chat platform where you can share your secrets, life stories, and personal confessions without fear of judgment. We believe that by creating a secure and private environment, users can find emotional relief and support from others.
2. Why Are We Here?
- Emotional Relief: Sharing your thoughts and feelings can help you heal or gain a new perspective.
- Supportive Community: We encourage users to offer empathy, understanding, and kindness to others.
- Safe Space for Conversation: Xonder is designed so you can speak your mind while maintaining your anonymity.
3. Respect One Another
- Practice Kindness: Treat other users with respect and empathy. Offering support and understanding is at the heart of Xonder.
- No Harassment or Hate Speech: We do not tolerate bullying, harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind.
- Uplift, Don’t Tear Down: Conversations should be constructive. Refrain from insults or hostile language.
4. Maintain Anonymity and Privacy
- No Personal Info: Don’t ask for or share personally identifying details—yours or others’. This includes phone numbers, addresses, full names, or any sensitive data.
- Ephemeral Chats: All sessions are temporary, meaning your chats and content are erased when your session ends. There’s no record of your messages once you’re done.
- User-Reported Issues: In rare instances where content is reported for legal reasons, we may temporarily collect an IP address or other identifiers, but only to comply with law enforcement if necessary.
5. Keep It Legal and Safe
- Comply with the Law: Do not use Xonder to engage in or promote unlawful activities.
- Avoid Harmful Content: Do not post explicit, graphic, or harmful content that could endanger others or violate their rights.
- Age Restriction: You must be 18 years or older to use Xonder. This helps protect younger audiences from inappropriate content.
6. Use Responsibly
- Honesty is Valued: While anonymity allows freedom of expression, using it to deceive or harm others goes against our principles.
- Support and Seek Help: Xonder is a community-based platform, not a substitute for professional care. If you or someone else is in crisis, please seek professional help immediately.
